Ceramic Cross from Mexico
This variant is currently sold out
Crafted in Dolores Guanajuato, these hand painted ceramic and tin crosses are made with locally collected clay and finished by a tinsmith.
After the Spanish settlement artisans incorporated their art forms and colours they loved with the new techniques they’d learned from Spanish settlers and Mexican Talavera emerged.
In Mexico the cross is a symbol of joy, thanksgiving, hope and gratitude.
