The place where I met her I don't seem to remember well but the fine contours of her face made an unforgettable impression.
The core of her eyes gleamed like burnished chestnuts. Her flawless skin appears to be cast from pure bronze on which the sharp light of the African midday sun melts like butter. Her gait is elegant and easy, her buttocks small and round like ripe peaches. Her every move is precise and well thought out. Beautifully curved lips, like dunes of sand, the view, so deep and so light. The whole make-up of these young Hamar on the market in Key Afar was an image of the surrounding savannah nature - spotless and clean. Man and nature - nature and man. Only together they make one.

The images breathe a diversity and naturalness missing from the Western world. Gerth's photography has been shown in International exhibitions and published in numerous magazines including Time Magazine who named him a world changer.

All Mario Gerth prints are custom printed on Hahnemhle paper and will take 10-14 working days from date of order to arrive from Germany. Each print is then rolled and shipped in durable custom mailing tubes.
