DESCRIPTION
The Juju is a symbol of prosperity, freedom and beauty.
Also know as the Bamileke feather headdress these Juju's are handmade by the Bamileke people and traditionally worn by royal dancers during tribal ceremonies held by the Chief. Made from dyed feathers that are hand stitched into onto a woven raffia support which can fold into a basket shape with the feathers neatly protected inside. This provides easy transportation from ceremony to ceremony.
Note: all juju headdresses will be slightly different due there individual craftsman ship by the Bamikele tribe in West Africa.
