YSL BLUE
We are proud to introduce to you to ‘YSL BLUE’ by talented Melbourne based photographer Stuart Cantor. This piece is our personal favourite from Cantors latest Moroccan series ‘Rooftops and Riads’ – and we are even more excited to be the first Australia stockist of Cantors work.
More commonly known as the Jardin Majorelle, this vibrant architectural masterpiece sits within an enchanting 12 acre botanical garden, that took french painter Jacques Majorelle 40 years of passion and commitment to bring to life.
Now home to the founders of the french luxury fashion house YSL, Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Berge bought Jardin Majorelle in 1980 after spending nearly every day there during their visits to Marrakech, “seduced by the oasis where colours used by Matisse were mixed with those of nature”.
Radiant bougainvillea against a backdrop of ‘YSL Blue’ hues, mixed with towering cacti and a touch of ancient Moroccan charm makes this work of art a real statement piece in any home. You will find the details to this beautiful piece, along with our other artworks here
Here are a variety of other images for you, revealing some of the finer details to admire at Jardin Majorelle…..
