RE-BRAND: HOME BY TRIBAL becomes FREY.
| A FRESH NEW LOOK
We’ve been working away behind the scenes for the past couple of months fine-tuning our website and expanding on the work we do, which we are so excited to be able to finally share with you all. Along with a freshly updated website, we have also worked with some truly beautiful clients on a number of styling projects completed this year, and we are proud to now be able to share more of this side of our work with you, as well as newly styled products available both in store and online.
| THE MEANING BEHIND THE NAME
The word ‘Frey’ was derived from Norse mythology, the god associated with prosperity and dispenser of pleasure. It is also a play on the wordFreight, stretching back to the days when people would travel far and wide to source homewares and treasures only available from a particular place, such as delicate porcelain from China, handblown glass from Italy, and opulent textiles from Turkey.
Frey celebrates the art of craftsmanship, and pays homage to the rich stories that exist behind every object.
Trendiness is not the objective for Frey – it is the history and quality craftsmanship behind each item that makes Frey a curator of material narratives.
We hope that Frey’s vision not only enhances the physical environments in which customers live and work, but creates a greater understanding and appreciation of the craft and history behind beautiful items.

Inspired by the beautiful objects we stock that are sourced from the far corners of the globe our new brand mark is a representation of exactly that. Indicating the position of a point of place, the longitude and latitude co-ordinates not only directly pin point you to the origin of the product, but serve as a reminder of the global influence that goes into our interior styling.
